In order to improve the method of the LED display panel grayscale modulation a method based on computer calculation is proposed. First the development history and trends of the LED display panel are introduced. Second present the structure of the LED display panel and the existed modulation method. Simultaneously point out the ground for shortcomings of the existed method. Third describe the principle modulation method based on computer calculation detail from two steps which are the data signal transformation and the grayscale modulation. Forth describe the realization steps of this method in accordance with the third step. Finally this method is supplied in a LED display panel whose resolution is 320240. Experimental results show that this method is able to increase the grayscale from 14-bit to 16-bit and can enhance the display result of the LED display panel significantly. In order to obtain high quality pictures
the thermal design is necessary for the space telescope. The designed temperature scope should meet to the permissible temperature tolerance of the telescope. A method for calculating the permissible temperature tolerance of the telescope is studied. The calculating temperature tolerance will be targeted for space thermal environment adaptive structure design and thermal design. A method for describing the temperature fields of the telescope is introduced. The descriptive temperature fields are able to include every temperature states that the telescope endured on orbit. When the MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) just meet to the optical indicator
the ultimate temperature tolerance of the space telescope is obtained

The magnitude requirement of space target detecting determines that the image of detecting telescope should have several performances: small spots
the wider field of view
small 80% encircled energy diameter and good MTF(Modulation transfer function). So the aperture and field of view of optical system have some demands accordingly. The larger aperture
the more extensive range which the telescope searches. Now most of ground telescopes whose apertures are from 500mm to 1000mm is on-axis optical system
the more energy that telescope collects and higher magnitude the telescope detects
so wide field of view becomes the most importance problem. To obtain large relative aperture and wide field of view
the paper introduces a catadioptric telescope with small aperture aspheric refractive corrector
whose conic surface will be used to remove the aberrations due to large relative aperture and wide field of view. As to the optical system
there is only one aspheric refractive corrector
and it is relatively easy for manufacturing because of its concave figure and normal material. The paper gives the example
and optimizes this optical system with ZEMAX program. And then the paper provides a specific analysis program for testing the aspheric refractive corrector. The aperture of this optical system is 750mm
and its relative aperture is 0.82
and the field of view is 3.6 diameter(diagonal). Its structure is simple and the image quality is also very good. 2009 SPIE.

We investigated electro-optic modulator structures to target low drive voltage
high-speed modulation
and small device size with c-axis grown BaTiO3/MgO ferro-electric thin films. In this study
the calculations are focused on the ideal thin film with a quadratic relation between the half-wave drive voltage V and the interaction length L in the electro-optic modulation case we obtained in previous work. With the quadratic electro-optic modulating relation and the optimal rib waveguide structure of BaTiO3/MgO thin films
the frequency-voltage-size performances for 2.5GHz
10GHz
40GHz
and 100GHz modulation bandwidths have been obtained under half-wave drive voltages of 0.8V
1.6V
3.0V and 4.8V
respectively
for the ideal film with r51=730 pm/V at 1550nm wavelength
where both the phase velocity matching condition and the conductor induced microwave attenuation are considered. The required device lengths to achieve these four typical values of modulation bandwidth are 3.3 mm
0.8 mm
0.4 mm and 0.2 mm
respectively. With the c-axis grown BaTiO3/MgO crystal thin films and the quadratic electro-optic modulating relation
an electro-optic coefficient of reff=180 pm/V for the c-axis grown BaTiO3/MgO ferro-electric thin films was measured
