We study the transmission response of microwaves through two identical metallic plates perforated with periodical ultranarrow slits. The experimental and numerical transmission spectra consistently display a striking transmission peak at wavelength much larger than any characteristic length of the microstructure (e.g.
about 20-fold of the lattice constant)
which can not be directly interpreted by the existing mechanisms. Both the LC-circuit-based microscopic picture and the effective-medium-based macroscopic model are established to capture the essential physics behind such unexpected resonance at the deep subwavelength scale. 2012 IEEE.

Lasing action in electrically pumped organic laser device is demonstrated. A DCM laser dye doped Alq film serves as the active layer. High reflective and low loss electrical contacts are used to form a high quality factor coupled microcavity. Single longitudinal cavity mode is obtained at 618 nm with a threshold current density of 612 mAcm-2 under room temperature continuous wave operation. 2012 SPIE.

In order to fit the sin wave curve of a multiposition strap-down north seeking system and to calculate the real north angle accurately
the data collected from the Dynamically tuned gyro(DTG) must be filtered firstly to reduce the noise jamming. The principles of the system are introduced. The factors influencing the measuring precision are also analyzed. Then
The DTG data are processed by second-order Butterworth filtering and Kalman filtering together. Experimental results indicate that the built-up filtering method can reduce noise jamming more effectively than second-order Butterworth filtering in the low frequency. 2012 IEEE.
