In this paper  a strong coupled CFD-CSD method is developed to simulate the aeroelastic phenomena. The CFD solver is based on the finite-volume algorithm for the Navier-Stokes equations on unstructured grid. The CSD solver solves the aeroelastic governing equations in the modal space. Their coupling is realized by a dual-time method. The spring-based smoothing method is adopted to deform and regenerate the aerodynamic grid. Two test cases are selected to validate the authors' method for static and dynamic aeroelastity .The results of the simulation for the static aeroelastic problems of a missile wing show that the Lift Coefficient and Drag Coefficient are severally 7% and 5% lower than those don't consider the elasticity of the wing. The results for the flutter boundary prediction of the AGARD 445.6 wing have been proved much closer to the experiment than using the DLM. This method can describe the effects of fluid viscosity more exactly for highly nonlinear transonic flight conditions. The calculation has proved reliable in the subsonic regime  but not accurate enough in the supersonic regime. 2011 IEEE.

To a supersonic missile  a seeker could enhance the aerodynamic ability due to decrease the resistance in flying. At the same time  the primary function of a seeker has been considered as the most important equipment for a missile  due to the importance for cueing of targets and tracking for the final approach. However  the dome of a seeker  which is made up of glass  has poor mechanical performance. Especially  in the higher altitude  for a dome  in which the aerothermal and pressure loads could destroy the structure easily  it is necessary to do the thermal-structure coupled analysis due to varied materials. In the paper  to take the spherical dome of a seeker as a example  the analysis has been completed according to the varied materials consist of MgF2  Al2O3 and ZnS. The temperature loads and the pressure loads derived from the results of fluent analysis has been forced on the surface of dome  which simulates the actual Mach 2.5 in flying. According to the results of coupled analysis  the SEQV stress of the dome radium 80mm based on three materials had reached to 31MPa  which shows that the strength is sufficient for Mach 2.5  and offered the warranty to design the attaching to missile for the dome. At the same time  the results required the flexible mounting for the dome due to the displacements results  which the crystal material couldn't accept. 2011 IEEE.

A review of high-speed flow pressure and aerodynamic heating effect on Supersonic missile's dome is given. The dome should have excellent properties in optical  mechanical and chemical characteristics. A design of dome on supersonic mode is described according to tactical guide line of a missile. The dome made of quartz which is about 8mm thick and 141mm in window diameter. To check up the reliability of the dome  a reasonable finite element model (FEM) of dome is established  and a thermal-mechanical Analysis to the dome by finite element software NASTRAN has carried on  through these can obtained the distribution of temperature field and stress field when the speed is 2.3Ma. The results indicated that the stress was concentrated in the joint of the dome end and the Missile Section  and the maximum stress was 16.4Mpa. The stress of other nodes was smaller than the allowable stress of quartz glass. Reference to the results of the analysis  a lightweight revision to the dome structural dimension and a new method of dome fixing have put forward  which can reduce the stress concentration. 2009 SPIE.
