Laser cleaning is a non-contact  green and environmental cleaning method  which can effectively remove particulate contaminations of sizes as small as 0.1 m without damage to the optics. But most laser cleaning devices are large and heavy  also expensive due to using large lasers such as CO2 laser  YAG Laser etc. In this work a low power LD was tried to clean fingerprint and dust contaminated on the surface of the attenuator glasses plates. In the laser cleaning experiment with low power diode the fingerprint grease can be efficient to be cleaned  but there is no evident effect for cleaning inorganic dust. The cleaning different degree of fingerprint contaminations was investigated at the variable laser parameters  including laser power and irradiation time. An optical microscope was used to analyze the cleaning effect. The results show that low power LD can effectively remove the fingerprint on the surface of absorptive-type attenuator glass plates. On the premise that the attenuator optics glasses are not damaged  the cleaning area increases with the increase of radiation time and laser power. The cleaning area doesn't change much with the variation of laser frequency when the other parameters are the same. (2013) Trans Tech Publications  Switzerland.

Mammary gland is composed entirely of soft tissue with approximate density  therefore mammary gland CR medicine radiation image presents a low contrast  and slight difference changes may be a manifestation of tumor  so it is necessary to enhance mammary gland CR image to improve its visual quality in order to meet the demands of doctor's clinical diagnosis. However the general enhancement algorithms over enhance the contrast and noise  due to image details lost  aiming at the defects  a mammary gland CR medicine image adaptive enhancement arithmetic based on image gray entropy is put forward. The arithmetic adapts dizzy image to magnify selected spatial frequency response in order to enhance the edge details of mammary gland CR images. It can adjust weighted factor K according to image gray characteristics namely pixel gray entropy. Experiments results demonstrate that mammary gland CR image enhanced by the algorithm has abundant details and high signal-to-noise ratio  moreover  CR image enhanced has good visual effect. So the method is effective and fit for enhancing CR medical radiation image edge details. 2012 IEEE.

Digital CR of head and neck overcomes the disadvantage of regular X-ray radiography  which can not reveal bone and soft tissue position deficiency in one exposing  and reduces the Xray radiation dose. Meanwhile  various factors cause the decline of image quality  and images must be enhanced in order to meet demands of doctor's clinical diagnosis. The general enhancement algorithms don't consider body's structure differences and density characteristics. A new adaptive CR enhancement algorithm was proposed in this article  and head and neck CR images were processed with this method and compared with linear unsharp masking method. The experiment proves that the details of CR image enhanced were abundant and enhanced CR image had good visual effect  SNR was high  as well as detail variance /background variance (DV/BV) indicating that this algorithm is suitable for head and neck CR medical images. Digital CR medicine radiation image is in doctor's favor and has became medicine imaging technology new hot spot because of its high gray contrast  powerful computer disposal function  little radiation dosage  non-film diagnosis  different area consultation. But degradation of digital X-ray medical image such as low contrast and blurring during radiographic imaging  caused by complexity of body tissue and effects of X-ray scattering and electrical noise etc.  can worsen the results of analysis and diagnosis. So it is usually needed that CR medicine image is enhanced to improve its vision quality  and easy to doctor's more accurate diagnosis. The general enhancement algorithms over enhancing the contrast and lose image details  aiming at the defects  an enhancement algorithm for CR image is proposed based on the ratio of deviation to mean of domain. The arithmetic enhance CR image edge details by adjusting factor K based on the ratio of deviation to mean of domain of CR image. Experiment results demonstrate that the algorithm enhances CR image detail and CR image enhanced has good visual effect  the adaptive enhancement method is fit for CR medicine image. Ground-based infrared imaging tracking system (GIITS) is of great importance for aerial target warning and guard. The operating range is one of the key performance specifications  on the other  which should be calculated  calculate the radiation power received on the detector in order to analysis whether the output signal meets the detection requirements or not  analyzed and studied during the whole GIITS design process. The operating range is mostly influenced by a few factors  without considering the effect of the background radiation. By improving of the traditional method  including atmospheric attenuation  a new operating range calculation model of the GIITS was established based on two requirements. One is that the image size of observed target should meet the requirement of the processor signal extraction. The number of the pixel occupied by target image should be more than 9. The other is that the signal noise ratio (SNR) of the GIITS should not be less than 5 to meet the requirements of the target detection probability and spatial frequency. The SNR calculation equation in form of energy is deduced and the radiation characteristic of the observed target and background are analyzed. When evaluate the operating range of the GIITS using the new method  the performance of GIITS and feature of target and background. This paper firstly makes analysis and summarization on the definite localizations of the traditional operating range equation of the GIITS. The localizations are mainly in two aspects. On one hand  we should successively calculate two operating range values according to two requirements mentioned above and choose the minimum value as the analytic result. In the end  the dispersion of the image and the effect of image dispersion are not considered in the traditional method  an evaluation of operating range for fighter aircraft is accomplished as an example. The influence factors in every aspect on operating range were explored by the calculated result. The new operating range calculation model provides the theoretical basis for the design and applications as well as the comprehensive evaluation of a GIITS. 2011 Copyright Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE).

The characteristic of digital CR medicine radiation image has wide dynamic range  abundant details and bad contrast  so it is necessary to enhance CR image to the need of doctor diagnosis. But the general enhancement algorithms don't consider human visual characteristics  so it puts forward CR medicine image adaptive enhancement algorithm combining the human visual property  which is more sensitive to smooth area noise compared with detail area noise  and makes image edge detail enhancement great in detail area  and detail enhancement little in smooth area  in which factor K is based on space change of image domain  accordingly gaining non-linear enhancement edge details of CR image. Experiment results demonstrate that the algorithm enhances CR image detail and CR image enhanced has good visual effect  so the method is fit for edge detail enhancement of CR medicine radiation image. 2010 IEEE.
