Firstly, roughening, cyclizing and primer coating are carried out on the inserting hole and the shell, after primer is dried, the shell, the inserting hole and the positioning pin are arranged inside the mold cores, the mold cores are placed in a preheated mold cavity, mold clamping is carried out, the mold is placed on a vulcanizing machine, pressurization, glue injection and vulcanization are carried out, after a set time has passed, a workpiece is cured, and the workpiece can be taken out from the mold. The key of the manufacturing method lies in the tightening threaded rod, after the mold clamping of an upper mold and a lower mold is carried out, the tightening threaded rod is screwed tightly, so that the left mold core, the inserting hole and the right mold core are in close contact with each other, a gap does not exist in the end face of the inserting hole and the end face of a positioning small pin of the left mold core, the phenomenon that glue dose not enter the inserting hole during the glue injection process is guaranteed, and the mold and manufacturing method of the mold are suitable for manufacturing of plugs of different types of watertight connectors.
