英文摘要Cilia dysfunction leads to developmental defects and also a spectrum of human diseases termed ciliopathies. The actin cytoskeleton is a highly dynamic network and involved in many important biological processes, such as cell migration and membrane trafficking. Recently, actin dynamics has been shown to play a critical role in ciliogenesis. This review summarizes these results and provides insight into possible mechanisms. (c) 2012 Elsevier Inc.
