中文摘要Metal-supported solid oxide fuel cells (MS-SOFCs) use thick porous alloy substrates as the mechanical supports for thin functional anode-electrolyte-cathode layers and have gained increasing interest due to their advantages over the traditional all-ceramic counterparts such as increased structural robustness, improved tolerance toward rapid thermal cycling, simplified stack assembling and reduced materials costs as well. However, issues such as coarsening of the active nickel anode catalysts, metalic interdiffusion between the alloy substrates and the anodes, and application of appropriate cathode layers remain to be addressed. Here we report some of recent progress in nano-scale electrode catalysts for MS-SOFCs using the liquid phase impregnation technique.
