中文摘要To outline the purpose and significance of the close-distance exploration to the moon using lunar rover, propose a new calculation model, which considers the lunar elevation and the attitude change of sensor on the rover, for the coverage boundary of the lunar rover on the lunar surface based on lunar terrain features and the lunar rover’s exploration principle. Introduce the basic idea, the core algorithm for the model, and the establishment and conversion of the related coordinate systems, and determine the coverage boundary by calculating the intersection of sensor’s view and lunar surface. According to rover coverage, the characteristics of lunar soil and rocks and other environmental information in coverage area could be detected, and a reference for the rover route planning could be provided.
