英文摘要	Sichuan Province is located in 97°21’-11°12’ E,26°03’-34°19’N. The land area is about 570,000km2. In Sichuan Province,there are complete types of the resources for scientific investigation and exploration.According to the characteristics of the resource distribution and the situation of the river basin,the resources for scientific investigation and exploration in Sichuan may be divided into 3 regions (region for drifting,climbing and exploring to original forest,region for drifting and cave exploration and region for mire exploration ), and 7 subregions(Jinsha River subregion, Yalong River subregion, Dadu River subregion, Minjiarlg River subregion, Jialing River subregion, Chuanjiang River subregion and WuJiang River subregion).Every large river in Sichuan has a value for drifting exploration, in West Sichuan,there are the famous scenic places for exploring to climb and glacier and original forest. In East Sichuan, there are various karst landform of subtropical zone. And Northwest Sichuan is a good place for plateau mire exploration.A lot of special subjects or items for integrated scientific investigation ,such as West Sichuan Plateau,rare animals,rare plants,fossil,ancient ruins of human, national customs,silk road in Southwest China,the relics of the Kingdom of Shu-Han (Water and land routn), Ancient Shu Paths, etc.
