英文摘要	Rectangular liquid-storage tanks, which are broadly used to reserve rinsing, sewerage, petroleum and chemical liquid, etc., are mainly applied to such corporations as water-supply and drainage, sewerage-disposal, petroleum, chemical industries and so on. Because these structures are relatively complex spatial structures composed of rectangular thin plates, their mechanical characteristics under the action of earthquake become considerably complex. Therefore, it is a very important problem to study liquid-structure interaction through mode test on steeliness rectangular liquid-storage tanks. In this paper, an experimental study for steeliness rectangular liquid-storage tanks is presented, and the four lowest modal shapes and frequencies of rectangular liquid-storage tanks with no liquid and liquid and the elasticity of roofs and the density of liquids are obtained firstly, and then the influences of the liquids, the elasticity of the roofs and the density of the liquids on the free vibration characteristics of the liquid-storage tanks are analyzed, and so the experimental basis is provided for subsequent liquid-structure interaction study and application of rectangular liquid-storage tanks.
