英文摘要This paper discusses the mechanical behavior of strengthening RC columns wrapped by steel tube after exposure to fire. The strength and stiffness of RC column became degradation and was damaged partly after exposure to fire. The strengthened RC column can be improved to match the performance using wrapped steel tube in general. A 3-D finite element model was established by ABAQUS to simulate the mechanical performance for the RC columns. The lateral load versus displacement curve was calculated by FEM. Parametric analysis was performed to investigate the effects of the strengthened column of bear loading capacity and stiffness. The different parameters, such as strength of steel tube and new concrete, nominal steel ratio and axial-load ratio, are considered during the analysis. The results can be referred to for engineering application.
