英文摘要 | Based on the large deformation theory of beams and combining the critical stress-temperature relationship and stress-strain relationship of shape memory alloy, the influence of tension compression asymmetry coefficient on shape memory alloy was studied under thermal and mechanical loads. The explicit expression of stress distribution of shape memory alloy beam was established in the process of bending deformation. The nonlinear controlling equation of shape memory alloy beam was derived and solved. The results showed that the phase transformation of shape memory alloy beam became more and more difficult as the increase of tension compression asymmetry coefficient and temperature. In the early phase transformation, material nonlinearity and geometrical nonlinearity had small influence on beam deflection. In the late phase transformation, material nonlinearity and geometrical nonlinearity had great influence on beam deflection. With the increase of tension compression asymmetry coefficient, the maximum neutral layer offset increased, but the temperature had no effect on it. With the increase of temperature and tension compression asymmetry coefficient, the bending moment increased in the case of given curvature. Both of them had a great influence on curvature subjected to bending moment. The tension and compression asymmetry coefficient had great influence on compression side, while the temperature had great influence on tension and compression side. © Editorial Office of Chinese Journal of Rare Metals.
