英文摘要	With the rapid development of mobile phones, network and image transmission technologies, the handheld devices as smart control terminal are becoming wider. In order to make it easier to handle the smart devices, the present paper introduces the design of a WIFI video monitoring car which uses mobile phones with Android and iOS systems as control terminals. ARM9S3C2410 is used as a master controller that drives DC motors to control the car running. The mobile client realizes the serial communication with the master controller through wireless router WIFI signal. Once the mobile client outputs a command, the master controller responds to it. Utilizing this mobile client, one can not only control various running statuses of the car, but also display the real time running statuses of the car on mobile phones. © 2014 ICIC International.
