英文摘要Based on wind turbine rotation kinetic energy accumulation and release, wind farm optimization operation was introduced in this paper. The wind turbines in the wind farm have a certain kinetic energy storage capacity, which can be used to implement energy accumulation and release. This is beneficial to wind farm and electricity grid regulation. First, power conversion efficiency under middle and low wind speed can be improved by this method, which includes kinetic energy of wind turbine accumulation and release. This method transfers turbine kinetic energy from lower rotation speed to higher rotation speed to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy by generator, which has higher efficiency. Second, kinetic energy accumulation and release of wind turbine, can be used to regulate electricity grid fluctuation with quick response. In conclusion, utilization of wind turbine based kinetic energy accumulation and release, is a useful method to optimize the wind farm and electricity grid system. © 2019 IEEE.
