英文摘要We proposed the composite strengthening and toughening technology routin, to develep the in-situ formed bulk metallic glass matrix composites toughened by the precipitation soft supercooled austenitic phase, and strengthened by deformation induced martensitic transformation of the supercooled austenite in shape-memory crystals. The effect of cooling rate on microstructure and mechanical properties of Ti66.7Ni20Cu13.3 bulk metallic glasses matrix composites was investigated. The results show that the shape-memory supercooled austenite crystals B2-TiNi and some brittle intermetallics phases separate on the armophous matrix. And the final fracture is controlled by the competition of the martensite phase and brittle crystallizing phases.
