中文摘要In this study, two situational judgment emotional intelligence tests, namely, the brief versions of the Situational Test of Emotional Understanding (STEU-B) and the Situational Test of Emotional Management (STEM-B), are revised and validated through two samples of employees. Specifically, the psychometric characteristics of STEU-B and STEM-B are tested usingitem response theory (IRT) analyses, internal consistency analysis, and factor analysis. The relationship among emotional understanding, emotional management, leader-member exchange relationship, team-member exchange relationship, job satisfaction and job performance were also examined. The following conclusions are drawn:1) The STEU-B and STEM-B had acceptable internal consistencies and similar mean proportions of correct responses as reported in previous studies. The scoring system of original scale is suitable for the context of Chinese organizations. There was no significant gender difference in the emotional understanding scores, but there was significant gender difference in emotional management scores, the scores of female employees were significantly higher than those of male employees.2) The item parameters provided by the IRT analyses showed good discriminatory power and reasonable variation in difficulty across all the items within the STEU-B and STEM-B scales, and both scales provided more information for employees with lower emotional intelligence.3)The scores of STEU-B and STEM-B were positively correlated with leader-member exchange relationship, team-member exchange relationship, job satisfaction and job performance. Leader-member exchange relationship and team-member exchange relationship partially mediated the relationship between emotional intelligence and job satisfaction, and t the relationship between emotional intelligence and job performance.In sum, these findings suggested that the STEU-B and STEM-B might be useful measurements in future EI studies in the Chinese organizational context.
英文摘要本论文通过两个企业员工样本,修订了两个情绪智力情境判断测验,即简版情绪理解情境测验(the the brief version of Situational Test of Emotional Understanding, STEU-B)和简版情绪管理情境测验(the the brief version of Situational Test of Emotional Management, STEM-B),通过项目分析、内部一致性分析、因素分析和IRT分析检验了简版情绪理解情境测验和简版情绪管理情境测验的心理测量学特征,并通过相关分析和回归分析探讨了能力型情绪理解和情绪管理能力与领导-成员交换关系、团队-成员交换关系、工作满意度和工作绩效的关系。得到如下结论:第一,修订后的简版情绪理解情境测验和简版情绪管理情境测验量表具有良好的内部一致性信度和项目区分度。原量表计分系统基本适合于我国组织文化情境。情绪理解的得分不存在显著差异,但情绪管理的得分存在显著性别差异,女性显著高于男性。第二,IRT分析提供的项目参数显示,简版情绪理解情境测验和简版情绪管理情境测验量表内所有项目具有良好的区分度、合理的项目难度跨度,以及充足的项目信息。此外,相比情绪智力水平较高的个体,简版情绪理解情境测验和简版情绪管理情境测验对情绪智力较低水平的被试具有更好的鉴别力。第三,简版情绪理解情境测验 和 简版情绪管理情境测验 的得分与领导-成员交换关系、团队-成员交换关系、工作满意度和工作绩效呈正相关。领导-成员交换关系和团队-成员交换关系部分中介情绪智力与工作满意度、工作绩效的关系。综合起来,我们发现简版情绪理解情境测验和简版情绪管理情境测验可以作为能力型情绪智力测试评估员工的情绪理解和情绪管理能力。未来的研究应侧重于在更广泛的工作场景中,考虑不同的组织情境和人格差异等因素展开。
