英文摘要Bioleaching process of mental ores has a unique advantage in extraction of valuable metals from low-grade complex ores and is a prospective technology for its low cost, high recovery of metal and low environmental pollution. In most bioleaching processes, the growth of microorganisms is the limiting step. So the study of the growth of the bacteria in the reactor and the optimization of cultivation conditions are important to enhance the leaching rate. Thiobacillus ferrooxidans are the most widely used microorganisms in bioleacing process. In this work, the cultivation conditions of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans were studied in flask bottles and the major factors including culture temperature, pH and initial Fe~(2+) concentration were optimized. The optimal cultural conditions with Leathen medium are at 30℃, initial pH 2.5 and initial Fe~(2+) concentration 6g/L. But 30℃, initial pH 2.5 and initial Fe~(2+) concentration l0g/L are the optimal conditions with 9K medium. According to the properties of the bioleaching systems, an airlift reactor with a complete on-line measuring system was constructed and the major liquid dynamics including liquid circulation rate, liquid mixing time and volumetric oxygen mass transfer coefficient k_La were measured. The experimental results showed that liquid circulation rate, liquid mixing time, gas hold-up and gas-liquid mass transfer coefficient depended strongly on gas superficial velocity in the airlift reactor. In proper range, the increase of gas velocity can improve liquid circulation, mixing and mass transfer in the reactor. Based on above experimental results, the characteristics of the culture of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans in the airlift reactor was studied. The Leathen and 9K medium were used in the experiments. The growth of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans, Fe~(2+) oxidation rate, and changes of dissolved oxygen under different conditions were measured, from which the cultivation conditions of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans were preliminary optimized. The results indicated that the airlift reactor was suitable for the cultivation of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans and the growth of the bacteria was corresponding to dissolved oxygen and Fe~(2+) oxidation rate during the culture process. The 9K medium due to higher nitrogen is better for the growth of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans than Leathen medium. Fe~(2+) oxidation rate is related to initial Fe~(2+) oncentration and properly enhancing initial Fe~(2+) concentration can promote Fe~(2+) oxidation rate. Enlarging air rate to keep dissolved oxygen above 40% is necessary to the growth of bacteria during the cultivation. In the end of this work, the bioleaching of low-grade nickel-copper sulfide ores in the airlift reactor was carried out and preliminary results were obtained. The leaching fractions of nickel and copper at 15% pulp concentration reached 92.47% and 39.2% respectively in ten days.
