英文摘要Based on the ionic model, the effect of covalency and charge density overlap on the total energies of YBa2Cu3O7 with different charge distributions are considered. In order to study the hybridization and correlation between electrons in the high T(c) superconductor simultaneously, the ionic wave functions was used as the zero order approximation for this strong correlation system. Charge density overlaps between ions are used to explain the covalant and hybridization effects. As a first order perturbative correction, the contribution due to these effects to the total energy of unit cell of YBa2Cu3O7 crystal was evaluated and discussed.
