英文摘要	A semiconductor laser is provided with a first laser element which has an emitting end plane and emits a laser beam having a first wavelength from the emitting end plane; a transparent plate which is provided with first and second main planes and has a characteristic of transmitting the laser beam; and a package which supports the transparent plate so that the emitting end plane of the first laser element and the second main plane of the transparent plate face each other, and houses the laser element. An interval between the emitting end plane of the first laser element and the first main plane of the transparent plate is 1mm or more.
