中文摘要 | genetially modified (gm) plants have been widely used in agriculture and food industry recently. safety evaluation of gm plants for humans and environment has been becoming a more important topic although there has been no direct evidence indicating deleterious effect of gm plants. more and more studies have been carried out to explore differences in gm rice and their wild counterpart to evaluate unintended effect, which is a main aspect of the safety assessment. most of work was only focused on key nutrients and antinutrients. however, to the best of our knowledge metabolic profiling analysis of rice seed using lc-ms has not ever been reported. here a metabolic profiling method of rice seeds was developed using rapid resolution liquid chromatography/quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry. the analytical properties of the method including the linearity, reproducibility, intra-day precision and inter-day precision were investigated and results were satisfactory. the method was then applied to investigate the differences between the transgenic rice and wild counterpart, as well as the wild rice with different sowing dates or sites. global metabolic phenotype differences were visualized and metabolites in discriminating different groups were found by a multivariate data analysis. results indicated that environment factors play a greater role than the gene modification for most of metabolites. |
