英文摘要	Based on the analyses of GML implementations and current spatial data engine technology, this paper proposes a distributed spatial data engine model that deals with operating almost all spatial-relevant objects in large object-relational databases. Components and organization in this model, together with its communication mechanisms, are all based on XML technology. The paper gives a detailed explanation of this model, including its architecture and key technologies used.
