英文摘要	Mango is an delicious fruit described as "king of all fruits" in tropical countries. The acreage and production figures have been inseasing sharply in recent years in Yunnan province. The acreage has gone up from twenty thousand mu in 1980 to thirty thousand mu in 1985, and up to seventy thousand mu in 1987. But Yunnan is in the north edge of the tropics, some planting regions can't meet the need of mango in weather for good output and quality. This thesis deals with the main climatic indexes favourable to mango growing and fruiting through investigation and experimental analysis of the climatic factors, fruit growing feature, fruit quality and out-put in order to give scientific evidences for rational distribution of mango production in Yunnan. In mango-growing localities of the world, the annual mean temperature lies about 24.5 ℃; the minimum temperature is not less than 5 ℃. In the major mango-growing localities of Yunnan, the annual mean temperature is some 21 ℃, 3 ℃ lower than that of the world; and the minimum temperature is above 0 ℃, 4-6 ℃ lower than that of the world. The annual rainfall of Yunnan is 700-1700mm, concentrating in May to October. There is little or no rainfall in the time of mango flowering. Observation to the time of mango flowering in Yunjang, Menglun, Yuanmou, Huanian results that the blooming temperature of sannian mango is 15.0-16.7 ℃. In fruit period, high temperature together with fair rainfall makes an early peak growth period, and the peak is higher; the period is shorter. The size, acid value and vitamin C content of fruit get bigger or higher with more fruiting period rainfall. Beside that, the surface of fruit becomes worse, diseases and pests are serious with more rainfall. As a result of above analysis, we conclude that the main climatic indexes favourable to mango production in Yunnan as below: On the basis of the indexes, Yuanjang, Jinghong, Yuanmou, Lujangba and Qiaojia are regarded as the most adaptive regions for mango production. The author proposes that mango commodity-producing field be built up in Yuanjang county, and considers that annual mean temperature, fruiting-period rainfall and air humidity are the limitations of mango production in Yunnan.
