中文摘要随着网络技术、计算机技术、数字压缩技术的飞速发展,流媒体的发展步入了一个令人欢欣鼓舞的阶段。流媒体的应用与日俱新,越来越受到大众的欢迎。它广泛的应用于远程教育、数字图书馆、远程医疗、视频点播等网络信息服务的方方面面。流媒体广泛的应用前景及潜在的商业价值使得众多的公司开发自己的流媒体系统。而当前的流媒体应用系统中,几乎都是利用PC机作为流媒体播放器的平台。为了达到真正的视听享受,开发具有流媒体解码能力的多媒体数字终端是大势所趋。鉴于此,中科院声学所DSP中心提出了一种应用于宽带网的多媒体数字终端方案并开始研制。该终端支持多种功能,如网页浏览,流媒体播放,家庭网关等。本文设计与实现了一种可用于宽带网多媒体终端的流媒体播放器。在分析了DVD影碟的文件组织规律和DVD播放器实现数据随机访问机制的基础上,本文提出了一种以逻辑块号间接定位DVD文件的方法,并以MPEG标准和流媒体技术为理论指导,在嵌入式开发平台上,通过PCI音视频解码器,以硬件解压缩的方式实现了DVD在IP网上的交互控制播放,取得了满意的成果,从而验证了在宽带网上实现DVD的流式交互控制播放是完全可行的。这种DVD的流式播放,是多媒体技术与网络技术的完美结合,是一种应用上的创新,它为流媒体宽带服务内容少的状况注入了新的活力。目前DVD流式播放的关键技术已经申请了专利,专利号为03121462.2。此外,由于MPEG基于运动补偿和预测编码的视频压缩算法,使得在MPEG视频流上实现全功能的VCR(Video Cassette Recodillg)控制具有诸多难点,面刘这样的挑战,本文也给出了简单有效的解决方案,实现了MPEG视频流的VCR控制,弥补了其它流媒体播放器在这一方面的不足。
英文摘要With the rapid development of network technology, computer technology and digital compression technology, streaming media applications are getting more and more popular and have entered an exciting era, which will enormously impact on our daily life. Streaming media is widely used in every aspect of Internet information services, such as distance learning, digital library, distance medical treatment and video-on-demand. It has so many applications and so great business opportunities that many companies are researching and developing their products in this area. However, in these streaming media systems, nearly all of the streaming players' hardware platforms are PC based. To let us really enjoy video and audio service, developing multimedia digital terminal with streaming media playback function is general course of development. So an embedded multimedia terminal solution for broadband network has been brought forward in Engineering Research Center of Digital Signal Processing. The multimedia terminal can support many functions, such as streaming media playback, browser, home gateway and so on. A streaming media player for the multimedia terminal is designed and implemented in this thesis. Based on the analysis of the DVD file system structure and the scheme of DVD player's accessing data at random, a method of not directly locating DVD file with logical block number is proposed in this thesis. According to MPEG standard, streaming media technology and the method, the playback of DVD on IP network with interactive control is turned into reality by the way of hardware decoding with PCI audio and video decoder on embedded platform. The result of playback is proved to be feasible. The playback of DVD in the form of streaming media combines multimedia technology and network technology to the extent of perfection. And it is a kind of innovation in application. A patent about the important technology of the playback of DVD introduced above has been applied. And its number is 03121462.2. Besides, on account of the MPEG's video compress arithmetic based on the motion compensation and prediction coding, there are many difficulties in the implementation of digital Video Cassette Recoding (VCR) for MPEG streaming. So a simple and effective solution for the VCR control of MPEG video streaming is also presented which makes up for the deficiency of other streaming players on this aspect.
