中文摘要近年来,为了适应移动无线互联网的需求,3G等移动通信技术开始逐渐向全IP化演进。随着VoWLAN的异军突起,以及基于lP的移动宽带无线接入技术802.16的迅猛发展,它们成为最近无线通信技术领域的两大热点。另外,即时消息、VoIP、视频会议、Peer-to-Peer等永远在线(Alwayson)业务日趋丰富。因此,全IP网络中的移动性管理问题就显得更为重要。针对全lP网络中基于移动作协议的移动性管理存在的一些问题,如切换性能、路由效率等,本文进行了深入的研究。在本文中,还针对VoWLAN和基于802.16技术的固定/移动宽带无线接入系统,提出了移动性管理解决方案。具体地说,木文主要探讨的以下几个方面的问题:第一,蜂窝网络的移动性管理技术已经相对比较成熟,因此,本文对GSM、WCDMA和CDMA2000等蜂窝网络的移动性管理方案进行了研究,这对于全lP网络的移动性管理设计可以起到借鉴和启发的作用;第二,设计基于传统WLAN网络的移动IPv6快速切换机制,给出了快速切换过程和接入认证功能结合的方法,并实现了原型系统。基于原型系统,我们进行了实验测试和数据分析;第三,提出基于层次移动IPv6(HMIPv6)的动态HA机制,以解决基本移动IPv61办议中存在的路由效率问题。基于此动态HA机制,我们提出在层次移动IPv6网络中的快速域间切换机制。其中,提出一种上下文转移机制,将用户的AAA、QoS等上下文信息在发生切换之前转移至目标网络,解决上下文快速重建问题,因此有助于减小切换时延;第四,通过将802.11MAC、移动性管理、用户接入认证、加密/解密等功能在妙和WLANSwitcb两个实体之间合理地分配,提出一种适合于提供语音业务的WLAN接入网结构。基于此结构,我们提出了一种代理移动IPv4机制,使得终端不需要支持移动IPv4,就可以实现子网间安全、快速地切换:第五,802.16全网架构方面的研究一直比较滞后。因此,本文通过对802.16标准及应用场景的演进方式的研究,提出一种可扩展的、适应802.16应用场景演进的网络结构。基于该网络结构,我们提出了一种子网间快速切换的方案。最后,针对WIMAX/WIFI的整合方式对垂直切换进行了初步研究和探讨。
英文摘要Recently, 3G mobile communication system evolves gradually to ALL-IP architecture in order to adapt the requirements of mobile wireless Internet. At the same time, in the field of BWA(Broadband Wireless Access), VoWLAN and 802.16 attract more and more attentions from communication device/chip manufactures such as Intel and mobile service provider. Since IEEE standards have the feature of tightly combining with IP technology, VoWLAN and 802.16 are also based on IP in the nature. In addition, Always-on applications such as instant message, VoIP, video conference are developing rapidly. Therefore, mobility management of All-IP networks is becoming more and more important. There exist some problems in mobility management based on Mobile IP in All-IP networks. In this thesis, we focus on addressing the problems of handoff delay and routing efficiency. Additionally, we propose mobility management solutions separately for VoWLAN system and 802.16 Fixed/Mobile Broadband Wireless Access system. In detail, the thesis addresses five issues related to mobility management in All-IP networks. Firstly, since mobility management in cellular networks has been developed many years, it is mature compared with that in IP networks. Therefore, mobility management mechanisms in GSM, GPRS, WCDMA, CDMA2000 are studied in this thesis in order to facilitate designing the mobility management method in All-IP networks. Secondly, fast mobile IPv6 handoff method based on conventional AP(Fat AP) architecture is proposed. In the method, the fast handoff is combined with AAA procedure. We implement the prototype system based on which we make experiments and analysis. Thirdly, we propose a dynamic HA mechanism in Hierarchical mobile IPv6 networks in order to address the routing deficiency issue. A fast inter-domain handoff method is proposed. We also introduce a context transfer mechanism through which mobile users' AAA and QoS context can be transferred to neighboring domain before they handoff actually. Hence, mobile users can re-build context locally when they handoff to neighboring domain and handoff delay is decreased. Fourthly, we propose a WLAN Switch architecture that is suitable for real-time applications such as VoIP. In the architecture, the functions such as 802.11 MAC, mobility management, access control, encryption/decryption are distributed reasonably between AP and WLAN Switch. Base on the architecture, we also propose Proxy Mobile IPv4 in which mobile nodes without Mobile IPv4 client support can roam securely and seamlessly between different subnets. Finally, compared with 802.16 air interface part, the research on 802.16 network architecture is not enough. In the thesis, we introduce a kind of 802.16 network architecture that is scalable from nomadicity/simple mobility to full mobility. A fast inter-subnet handoff method is also proposed. At last, the interworking of 802.11 and 802.16 is studied. Also, vertical handoff between 802.11 and 802.16 is discussed.
