英文摘要A regional ice model is coupled to the Princeton Ocean Model via a two-way transfer of momentum and heat. The coupled model is used to study the variation of ice cover and the heat balance at the sea-ice, air-ice, and air-sea interfaces of the Bohai Sea. The simulation presents sea ice evolving process realistically excepting for the lagged ice freeze-up date. The results show that ocean heat flux is a very sensitive thermodynamic factor for ice growth and decay process.
