英文摘要	In this paper, stress wave propagation in transversely isotropic fluid Saturated porous media is studied based on Biot's theory with considering of the fluid viscosity, The analytical expressions for speeds and attenuation of plane waves are obtained and the complex characteristic equations and existence condition for general Reyleigh waves are also derived. The propagation characteristic of plane waves and Rayleigh waves in transversely isotropic fluid-saturated porous media is analyzed numerically.
