英文摘要 | Of all countries, China has perhaps the largest population of students who are studying computing as a 4-year university major program. Over the past few years, the Ministry of Education of China (MOEC) has been investigating the status of computing programs and looking for possible improvements to meet the needs of a country which is highly dynamic and is experiencing an informatization process. With an introduction of the general practice of Chinese computing education as a background, this article, as a brief version of a more detailed document [1], reports the outcome of the investigation along with an elaboration on future development.
