英文摘要 | Studies on image processing have found that phase feature is more important for computer reconstruction of an image. We have found that contexture and edge had their own role in familiarity and similarity. In this article, we inquired further into the role of phase feature in contexture. Face photos were transformed by the second order FFT, and phase features of contexture were exchanged between each familiar and strange face photo, so that we had eight categories of pictures: F0, F8, F16, F32, SO, S8, S16, S32; the subscription number meant the spatial frequency exchanged. The processed photos worked as the prime with a natural familiar photo as the target. Subjects were instructed to judge similarity between prime and target. The results showed that the difficulty of similarity evaluation was increased by phase exchange. Much more ambiguous responses were produced by S16 and F16 that exchanged phase feature by half to half Both P300 latency and N200 amplitude are physiological parameters to the similarity evaluation of face photos. The results suggested that phase properties in contexture of photos were important factors for face recognition and that they are worthy of further investigation.; Clinical Neurology; Neurosciences; Physiology; Psychiatry; CPCI-S(ISTP); 1 |
