Development of portable agricultural machinery monitoring and center-navigation system

英文摘要In order to improve the management and scheduling efficiency of large-scale agricultural machinery organization, the paper designed and developed a Tablet PC-based portable agricultural monitoring and navigation system. The paper designed the system structure and the data flow. The system includes mobile terminals, servers, communication gateways, and monitoring terminals. The paper also designed communication protocols, such as the transmission of mobile terminal's location and attribute, the farmland update of navigation terminals, the route guidance of the navigation terminal. The paper developed portable prototype system of agricultural management and scheduling system, based on Windows Tablet PC and Google Map. Functions of the system include position reporting, machinery monitoring, center navigation, mobile command. Combined with the related agricultural cooperatives practice in Beijing in 2011 and 2012, we conduct system application validation test, and the results show that the system can significantly improve agricultural management and scheduling efficiency, and can provide a useful reference for the management and scheduling of large-scale agricultural machinery organization.; EI; 0
