英文摘要The Ingan fault, located at the northwest margin of the Tarim Basin, is a northeastward thrust fault. Evidence such as the fault striation and calcite fiber bundles suggests that the thrust direction was northeastern, which is obviously different to the southeastern thrusting Kalpin faults. The stratigraphy and the relationship of fault cutting imply that the active period of the Ingan fault was Pliocene to Early Pleistocene, earlier than that of the Pleistocene Kalpin fault. Research results indicate that two stages of thrust tectonics in different directions developed in the Kepingtage area during Late Cenozoic, within which, the Ingan fault is the front thrust of the Pamir syntax foreland thrust belt in Pliocene, while the Kalpin thrust system presents the foreland thrust belt of South Tianshan since Pleistocene.; EI; 0; 2; 184-193; 37
