英文摘要Observations from NCAR Incoherent Scatter Radar Base are used for case study of the dynamic and electrodynamic coupling. The results show that during periods of weak and moderate magnetic disturbance of two cases, the dynamic coupling between high and middle-low latitudinal ionospheres, i.e. the effect of the ionospheric disturbance dynamo, is prominent. The effect of the electrodynamic coupling, which is connected with the penetration of high-latitude electric fields into low latitudes, is more significant in observations of Jicamarca than that of Arecibo. This probably is related to the feature of the equatorial ionosphere and due to the high sensitivity of the measurement.
