英文摘要	With a rapid rising urbanization level in the context of fast growth, based on a multi-level index system that involves a number of indicators of the level, quality, efficiency, structure of industrialization and urbanization, a multivariate statistical analysis method, i.e., canonical correlation analysis, is adopted to study the evolution of interaction between industrialization and urbanization on provincial level in China for the years of 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005. It is shown that economic growth is the key driving force of industrialization and urbanization in China. Technology and service sector growth have become more and more important implying that the dynamic of urbanization and industrialization is changing.
