英文摘要	A serious air pollution occurred from sep. 27, 2004 to oct. 12, 2004 in beijing. meantime, the concentration of 03, no, and co was observed continuously. we used the o-3 analyzers, nox analyzers and co analyzers to measure those pollutant in air. the analyzers were placed at three different levels (8 m, 120 m and 280 m) of the 325 m tall meteorologic observation tower. according to the meteorological data and the concentration of 03, no. and co that was observed from the tower, the vertical distribution and the consistence trend of atmospheric o-3, nox and co were analyzed. we found that these polluted gases distribute in a very non-uniform manner in the range 0 similar to 280 m; under low press, if 24 hours temperature change is positive, these polluted gases can converge and accumulate easily. o-3 production is sensitive to the voc in this area, that makes o-3 vertical profile form. there was the oxidated air mass surge in the uppermost boundary level because of the heat island circumfluence and hollow wind circumfluence.
