英文摘要Er3+/yb3+:ligd(moo4)(2) crystal with a size up to phi 20 x 34 mm(3) was grown by the czochralski method. the hardness of er3+ /yb3+:ligd(moo4)(2) crystal is 369.1 vdh and has about 5.0 ohm. the green and red lights were firstly observed by naked eyes. crystal was excited with a ld of pump power about 50 mw at room temperature. the strong up-conversion emission band is observed at 520-560 nm at room temperature. the weak up-conversion bands are observed at 490 and 645-675 nm. in addition to these emission bands, down-conversion yb3+ and er3+ emission bands are simultaneously observed at 900-1050 nm and 1470-1630 nm, respectively.
