Maximization of security based energy-efficiency in multicarrier relay networks with SWIPT

英文摘要The development of wireless communications has led to the emergence of many new communication technologies. As a new technology, the simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) can alleviate the problem of insufficient energy supply in relay nodes and thus improve system performance further. This paper considers the SWIPT-based decode-and-forward (DF) relay network where the relay node employs the time switching scheme to simultaneously receive information and harvest energy, and then uses the collected energy to help the source to forward data to the destination. There also exits an eavesdropper in the network. Based on this model, the security based energy efficiency maximization problem is formulated as an optimization problem, where a practical nonlinear energy harvesting model is considered. Since the considered problem is a non-convex problem, the fractional programming theory and variable substitution method are employed to convert it into a difference of convex (D.C.) problem, which can be efficiently solved by an iterative-based algorithm. The simulation results verify the advantage performance of our proposed solution from different perspectives.
