英文摘要The results from site investigation and indoor test indicate that it is very important in the subsoil of calcareous sands to consider the particle crushing, interparticle cementation, cavernous character and fresh water level. The strength and deformation behaviors are difference from terriestrial silica-sand completely. In this paper, the engineering geological zoning for the calcareous sediment is suggested based on the LDP (Lightly Dynamic Penetration) and the geomorphological characteristics. It is conducted, from the insitu PLT test, that the bearing capacity and deformation modulus of the weak cemented calcareous sand are all higher enough for general used buildings.
