英文摘要Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), a kind of important gas signal molecules, serves as an important medium in physiological and pathological studies. It is also a hot spot in the research of chemistry and biology. We now report a new type of reactionbased fluorescent probe for selective detecting H2S in living cells that adopts H2S reaction with tetrazine group (Tz) to dihydio-tetrazine. The fluorescence probes, BODIPY-Tz-I and BODIPY-Tz-II (BODIPY: abbreviation for boron-dipyrromethene), respond to H2S by a turn-on fluorescence signal enhancement and show high selectivity of H2S over other biologically species. BODIPY-Tz-I and BODIPY-Tz-II can be used to detect H2S in both buffer solution and cells in vivo, which provide a novel and effective approach for H2S detection in biological systems.
