中文摘要 | As one of the most integrated and cutting-edge natural science, tissue engineering has caused more and more attention which develops biomaterials to repair, improve even substitute human organs and its functions.As the most concerned application in tissue engineering, conventional bioextrusion mode bioprinting leads to a high shear stress which reduces cell viability and has significant limits in low viscosity biomaterials.Therefore, a low shear stress piezoelectric squeeze mode droplet generator was designed for printing low viscosity materials which comprised of a inkjet printhead, forming the droplet when applying a special voltage and a back pressure system, supplying steady liquid.Sodium alginate solution of 0.5% concentration was pushed to form a near-spherical droplet by a diaphragm type piezoelectric transducer, which actuated by a function signal generator.A charge coupled device(CCD) camera is simultaneously triggered by the driving pulse to measure the dimension and velocity of the droplet with a special image processing methods.In order to improve the printing accuracy and increase the cell viability, droplet velocity must be controlled at a appropriate value and reduce the diameter of dispensed droplet, therefore, experiments about frenquency, pulse amplititude and pulse width was explored multi-times to obtain the final dispensing parameters. |
