英文摘要particles and their preliminary application in the field of earthen heritage conservation. High-temperature calcination and inverse microemulsion were used to produce nano calcium oxide and calcium hydroxide particles, respectively. The surface morphology, size distribution and mineral composition of these particles were viewed directly through Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS), rapid shearing strength and disintegration test were carried out, aiming to evaluate mechanical properties, durability and water resistance ability improvement after treatment. Furthermore, the SEM-EDS technique was used to reveal the reason why the strength of the samples was improved after treated by nano calcium-based materials and how the calcium precipitation distributed spatially within the pore space. These conclusions provide a further research method and means for the application of nano calcium-based material in earthen site reinforcement projects.
