英文摘要 | Miscanthus straw is emerging as a viable feedstock for fuel ethanol production and renewable resources. In this report we have studied the effect of Co-60-gamma ray irradiation pretreatment on biochemical composition and enzymatic hydrolysis of miscanthus straw. Compared with the control sample, the cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin of miscanthus straw were greatly degraded by Co-60-gamma ray irradiation pretreatment at the doses loading from 400 similar to 2000 kGy, their degradation rates were up to 65.9%, 78.0% and 14.8% respectively with irradiation pretreatment at the dose of 2000 kGy. Followed by enzymatic hydrolysis of miscanthus straw after irradiation pretreatment, higher reducing sugar yields were obtained. Approximately 3.9 fold higher of reducing sugar yield was obtained with irradiation pretreatment at the dose of 2000 kGy (515.7 mg/g compared with 132.6 mg/g in the control). The effect of Co-60-gamma ray irradiation pretreatment on structural characterization of miscanthus straw has been evaluated by SEM, XRD and FTIR analysis, to analyze the reason for the increased sugar yield of enzymatic hydrolysis after irradiation pretreatment. |
