| 英文摘要 | 随着现代语言学理论的发展，语言学对语言系统及其生成和使用的论述使翻译研究逐渐摆脱传统评点式的翻译批评方法，转向深层的语言研究，继而形成比较科学的翻译理论体系。其中，功能语言观打破翻译过程中拘泥于源文到译文词句点对点的翻译模式，通过语篇分析模式研究语篇翻译，为翻译实践和研究提供了一个切实可行的理论框架。 本次翻译项目节选自《如何造就你的批判性思维》（BecomingaCriticalThinker）一书，该书属国外高等教育批判性思维课程的教材。翻译本文的主要意义在于该书的中译文将为今后我国大学开设批判性思维课程提供重要文献参考。此外，本项目立足功能语言学，以语篇整体为单位，将语篇分析应用于探索...; With the development of modern linguistics, linguistic studies on language system and generation and language use have enabled translation studies to gradually get rid of traditional commenting methods in translation criticism and turn to deep linguistic researches, and then form a comparatively scientific translation theoretical system.
