英文摘要	本文实证研究了中国上市公司独立董事辞职事件传递的信号问题。 本文选取中国上海证券交易所2004年-2010年间109起独立董事辞职事件为样本，将总体样本按照独立董事辞职公告上所列示的辞职原因分为两组：一组为届满6年或按照相关规定辞职的正常性独立董事辞职；另一组为因“工作繁忙”、“健康原因”或者“个人原因”等原因辞职的非正常性独立董事辞职，对比研究独立董事辞职传递的信号问题。 结果显示正常性独立董事辞职事件不会传递出明显的信号，而非正常性独立董事辞职公告会传递出明显的负面信号，短时窗内投资者会迅速地做出消极的反应。随后本文又将短时窗拓展至较长时窗。对比不同时窗后，本文发现独立董事辞职信号的负...; The paper examines the signal problem of independent director resignation in the listed companies of China.
