中文摘要The mechanics of multi-directional cracks was analyzed to study the interactions between different direction cracks occurring at same location in reinforced concrete structures subjected to complex loadings. A 3-D fixed multi-directional crack model was developed and verified through constitutive model tests and simulations. Reinforced concrete beam experiments .using regular hexagonal cross section beams were used to study the mechanics of the multi-directional cracking. The 3-D cracks crossed each other as the loadings were applied on different surfaces and at different locations on the reinforced concrete beams. Numerical simulations of these tests were studied using the' model. Simulations show that the entire tests including the crack growth and bearing capacity can be accurately analyzed by the model.
