This paper analyzes those terms related to the role of nuclear weapons, traces Mao Zedong’s nuclear doctrines, explores China’s strategies in nuclear development and operations, and demonstrates that China’s nuclear strategy is based on counter-nuclear coercion instead of minimum nuclear deterrence. |
