中文摘要	以演进中的北京城市空间作为研究对象,基于空间句法并结合传统的统计与比较分析方法对北京城市空间及功能模式在不同年代的演变进行系统定量分析和比较研究。通过句法之空间分析方法对不同年代北京城市空间形态和结构逻辑的理解与模拟来尝试把握北京城市空间,相应结合土地利用、社会经济等相关信息分析,应用空间句法之相关等理论,揭示北京城市空间模式系统的内在运行机制以及其城市功能模式演变的本质规律。这里空间句法将作为一种不同于传统的表现、描述与评测城市空间结构与模式的方法,可利用一系列变量客观评定城市空间的特征,并将其与社会经济、环境和文化要素等紧密关联。; The urban area of Beijing has greatly incrcased during the last decades. To better understand the mechanism and the nature of the metropolitan evolution, this study attaches attention to and endeavors to explore and elucidate the evolution of spatial and functional patterns of Beijing,and investigates the relationship be- tween urban spatial and functional patterns through the metropolitan evolution pro- cess.This paper maintains that spatial pattern should be taken into account mostly and the morphology of urban network and the function pattern should be focused on the land-use pattern.Syntactical analysis together with classical comparative methods is used for a fundamental understanding of Beijing morphological process. The syntactical analysis of the three phases,namely the 1980s,the 1990s and the 2000s,of the metropolitan morphology are developed.By this,the essential changes in characteristics of spatial of Beijing during its are revealed,some valuable infur- mation about functional cluster of metropolitan area are derived,and the analysis suggests syntactic difference during space evolution process may account for the dif ferent functional patterns.Also certain transformation in metropolitan structure that occurred under the socialist regime are proved to have significant effects on the whole configuration of the system.
