中文摘要The engineered treatment research of municipal solid waste (MSW) at a suburban building site was investigated in laboratory tests including sieve analyses, triaxial compression tests, simple shear tests, and isotropic consolidation tests to investigate the strength properties of municipal solid waste. The tests show that the fibrous component of the wastes has a reinforcing effect which can increase the cohesion but has little influence on the friction angle. The shear strengths obtained from the simple shear tests were lower than those from the triaxial compression tests. Isotropic consolidation tests for 1500h (62d) show that the water discharge in the samples could continue for quite a long time despite the pore water pressure being dissipated in 4 ~ 10h, which affects the rheological characteristic of the solid wastes.
