中文摘要The elasto-plastic stability of Keiwitt latticed domes made by carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP)-aluminum alloy composite pipes is investigated using the finite element method. It was compared with the pure aluminum latticed domes. The finite element model of the composite pipes was verified by comparison with axial compressive test results. The complete loading process of the domes using composite pipes was then analyzed to get their ultimate capacity using nonlinear geometric and material effects. The model was used to analyze the influence of various parameters, including the rise-span ratio, initial imperfections, and unsymmetrical loads, on the stability and ultimate bearing capacity of the dome. Finally, the economics of latticed domes built using composite pipes and pure aluminum alloy pipes is compared. The results show that composite pipe latticed domes have higher loading capacities and less sensitivity to geometric imperfections and unsymmetrical loads although their material costs are more than that of pure aluminum alloy tubes. Hence, latticed domes made by CFRP-aluminum alloy composite pipes are suitable for long-span structures.
