中文摘要The soil water retention curve is the foundation to numerically simulate the soil water movement, so it is of great significance to build models to describe the soil water retention curve and to estimate the parameters. In this paper, vG model parameters of the soil samples in Unsaturated Soil Hydraulic Property(UNSODA) are estimated with MATLAB, and the results indicate: (1) In order to exactly reflect the character of the soil water retention curved the experimental data should be enough to cover all the water content range with equall distribution; (2) Parameter a lies between 0 and 1. 0(1/cm) and mostly lies between 0 and 0. 1 (1/cm); parameter n mostly lies between 1. 0 and 2. 0 except for that of sand. (3) When the soil stickiness is bigger, the parameter a is bigger but the parameter 71 is smaller.
