中文摘要System performance matching, parameters modeling and configuration design method are key technology for mass customization in manufacturing such as automotive industry. The Product Data Management (PDM) technology is integrated into the design platform for the collaborative development process of vehicle brake system, and the design expert system is applied to parsing the design restriction which is expressed by the system performance specifications, modeling parameters. The concept of design unit that is higher level than functional feature of the parts, and the parameters modeling concept with functional features are used to construct the design hierarchy of the brake system. Applying the PDM system constructed on the products character parameters, the knowledge has been mapped to the geometry of the CAD/CAE/CAPP system. A collaborative design process, system style selection, modeling parameters optimization, and the performance evaluation have been implemented in the platform.
