中文摘要Laboratory studies on the effect of purifying the secondary effluent from Gao Beidian Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), using DGB (double gel beijing) adsorbent followed by soil aquifer treatment (SAT) for reuse purposes were conducted. A process which consisted of 100 mg/L DGB adsorbent, polyaluminum chloride as a coagulant, sedimentation, sand filtration and soil aquifer treatment for groundwater recharge was selected. This process could greatly decrease UV-254, Color-436 of the secondary effluent, and partially remove DOC and Adsorbable Organic Halogens (AOX). Disinfection by chlorination with the dosage of 6-8 mg/L inactivated significantly total bacteria and total coliform in the DGB adsorbent treated water, however, AOX increased obviously, indicating a high potential of forming disinfection byproducts. The DGB adsorbent treated water had a good water quality and can be used for non-potable purposes. After the tertiary treatment combined with simulated soil columns, the concentrations of nitrogen and many heavy metals were reduced to the levels below the national drinking water standard. The results of the Ames test showed that this secondary effluent had a high level of mutagenicity. And the given tertiary process partially removed mutagenic substances.
